6/2/12 4-5pm - Fort Niagara

A very interesting French fort. They had a bunch of people dressed in character, giving the history of each building. Most were camera shy though.

Serious front door.

Powder room, most heavily barricaded building in the fort...for obvious reasons.

This cannon was HUGE, had to be over 15 ft. long, easy...it dwarfed all other cannons in the fort. Makes a great ship deterrent.

They were serving food the soldiers would have eaten back in the day. Grey soup and hard bread - need I  say more?
