8/18/12 3:30pm Mount Washington Auto Road, fun/scary/cold

Mount Washington Auto Road

65f at the bottom...  By the time I got to the top, I was shaking like a leaf from the cold.  35f with 40mph winds...   will suck the heat right out of you.
The top was crowded like I have never seen, spent most of my time just trying to take pictures without other people in them.  Most people took the train up...  Some diesel powered knock off made to look like an old train.  I guess the original steam train I saw last time was in the shop.

No radiator on my ride...  just waiting for the engine to cool while I soak up the view.  Listening to the crackle of the exhaust.  Driving uphill for 8 miles straight at 10mph is rough on the old air cold technology.

The only level spot while driving up I could stop at, wish I could take pictures and video while going up but it takes full concentration.

Cog Railroad, keeps the train from sliding down the mountain.

Fake diesel trains taking over for the original steam train I saw on my last trip.

Museum inside the main building, must go through gift shop to get to it.  (they stole that move from Disney)

More clouds engulfing the mountain.

Mount Washington post office...  That's a tough delivery route.

My bike mixing in with the crowd.

Camera would not focus on me for some reason.
